Platelet Rich Plasma Eye Rejuvenation is a cosmetic, non-surgical process that tightens the skin around your face and eyes to give you a more youthful appearance. This process includes taking a small amount of blood from your arm and then separating the red blood cells and plasma so that the plasma, rich in platelets, can be reinjected into the skin around your eyes or applied topically. While it may sound a little scary, this Under Eye Rejuvenation is essentially tricking your skin into thinking that there is an injury at the site of injection and the platelets help the skin create newer, tougher cells. It’s these cells that are responsible for the more youthful appearance! Most people will need 3 treatments and results will last approximately 12 months. This is a safe, natural solution for correcting problem areas on the under eyes and face with no risk.

If you have hollowness or a "sunken" look under your eyes, you’ve undoubtedly tried every several creams out there to no avail. The truth is that our under eye treatments, also know as tear through filler is one of the few things that can actually make difference! Due to aging, its common to lose volume under the eyes and see an increase in darkness, resulting in a more tired look. But just because this is "natural" that doesn't mean we have to live that way. Other factors can contribute to this, such as stress and lack of sleep of course. The skin found under the eyes is more delicate than other facial skin, so it's important to seek an experienced injector to treat this correctly. You will only require 1 treatment and your results will last 12-18 months. A two week follow up is also recommended with your Cosmetic Nurse Injector.

HOW LONG DO UNDER EYE TREATMENTS LAST AND WHICH ONE IS BEST?

Typically these treatments will last 12-18 months, however, in some cases patients have seen up to to 24 months of rejuvenation. When it comes to determining which of these treatments are best for you, our medical staff will let you know once they asses you in person.

What are the risks of under eye treatments?

Before we treat any of our patients, our medical staff will thoroughly go thru the risks of each treatment. Although rare, complications from under eye dermal fillers can be devastating. The most serious complications are vascular. Vascular occlusions can lead to necrosis (tissue death), scarring and, even more seriously, blindness although again, this is extremely rare.
